MP-S1 plus,it's an Single Pump Control Panel.If don't connect the level probe,it's same as an motor protector/Starter.It has More control functions,but motor protector just start & protect pump.
Applications:
Contorl and protect universal pump
Using liquid probe sensor or float switch or pressure switch to control pump start and stop.
Applied for water supply by liquid level control through float switch or liquid probe.
Applied for water supply by pressure control through pressure switch and pressure tank.
Applied for drainage by liquid level control through float switch or liquid probe.

Leading Intelligent Pump Controller Feature: Pump Motor Stalled Protection
1. What is pump motor stalling ?
The pump motor cannot start operation or will stop running under mechanical faults or human causes, i.e. overload, impeller stuck by foreign matters and shaft rusting. Under stalling, the motor rotating speed is zero while there is still torque output.
2. What consequence will motor stalling cause?
The power factor is quite low under motor stalling. But the stalling current will reach up to 2-12 times compared with the rated current based on different motor capacity and processing technic. This will result in burning out the motor.
3. How does Leading pump controller protect the motor from stalling?
In Leading’s controller, the trip response ratio for pump stalled protection is 200%( 2 times) of rated current. When the operating currenting reaches 2 times, our controller will immediately turn off the pump. As pump stalling is a kind of serious failure, the pump will restart operation after pump user repairs or replaces it.
